Nubian Water Systems introduces the latest technology in greywater recycling with its new age slimline treatment unit.

The system can be installed beside your house, requiring no excavation or disruption to your garden. It is as easy to install as a hot water system or other household appliances.

The OASIS GT600 greywater treatment system is housed in the lightweight, slimline units:

Processor - treatment system;
Feed Tank - holds household greywater prior to processing;
Treated Water Tank - recycled greywater for application as listed below.

The OASIS GT600 is an above-ground greywater treatment system capable of treating the water from at least an 8 person house.

The treatment process is continuous and chemical free. The treated water is clear and there are no odours from the system or the treated water which can be stored indefinitely.

Processing is automatic and no intervention by the owner of the system is required. The system treats greywater at the rate of one litre per minute and can process up to 1,200 litres per day.

The system treats the greywater in three steps:

1. Solids separation removes lint and other coarse materials to prevent blockages and fouling of the system;

2. Water flows down through a bed of proprietary media in the Processor. Contaminant removal is achieved through filtration, absorption and biological treatment;

3. Ultraviolet (UV) disinfection completes the treatment process before the treated water is stored for recycling.

Installation

• Plumbing from your toilet and kitchen must be separated from your greywater plumbing;
• The tanks can be installed internally or externally;
• Installation can be completed in less than a day.

Accreditation and Re-use Options

New South Wales

The system is accredited by NSW Health in the highest category of treated water quality, which means the treated water can be used for above ground irrigation, toilet flushing, as the cold water supply for clothes washing and car washing (subject to council approval).

Victoria

The system is accredited in Victoria by the EPA and the treated water may be used for above ground irrigation. The Victorian Department of Human Services has indicated that treated greywater of the quality produced by the OASIS GT600 may be used for toilet flushing and direct connection to clothes washing machines.

Queensland

In Queensland the OASIS GT600 system is accredited by the Department of Infrastructure and Planning. Approved uses are lawn and garden spray irrigation, toilet flushing, washing machine, vehicle washing and path/wall washdown.

Australian Capital Territory

The OASIS system may be installed in the ACT and the treated water can be re-used for above ground irrigation, toilet flushing, the cold water supply to the laundry and car washing.

South Australia

The system is accredited in South Australia by the Department of Health and the treated water may be used for above ground irrigation.

Integration with Rainwater Collection Systems The system can be integrated with rainwater collection systems and with appropriate plumbing the treated greywater and rainwater may be stored in the same tank.

Rebates

The OASIS GT600 is eligible for government rebates for greywater treatment systems.

In New South Wales there is no rebate for greywater treatment systems. Some councils offer rebates (eg Wyong and Gosford Councils offer a $1,000 rebate, Tamworth Council $500).

In Victoria a rebate of $500 is available.

In Queensland, a rebate of up to $500 is available.

In South Australia there are no rebates for greywater treatment systems.
