RWL Water Nirosoft custom designs, manufactures and supplies state-of-the-art desalination systems for brackish and seawater. Desalination systems can be tailor-made based on site-specific feed water characteristics and specific water quality requirements.
RWL Water Nirosoft’s seawater desalination systems incorporate energy recovery systems that reduce energy requirements by up to 40%, resulting in more economical production of drinking water. It supplies small to medium size desalination plants with a capacity of 5 – 50,000 m3 per day.
RWL Water Nirosoft’s desalination solutions can be implemented skid-mounted, in mobile & containerised units or in full-scale plants. With the launch of NIROBOX customers can now choose a state-of-the-art, ‘plug and play’ seawater desalination plant able to support 500 to 20,000 people.
Whichever platform is chosen each system typically consists of:
- Pre-treatment by ultrafiltration membranes
- Reverse osmosis with built-in energy recovery
- Remineralisation
